Brow tattooing is not one technique
The name is one thing; the techniques under it differ in tool, in result, and in the skin type they suit. Most of the poor results I see come from choosing the wrong technique, not from poor execution.

How to choose: the answer is your skin type
- Oily or combination skin: powder, micropigmentation or fiber. Not hand-drawn strokes.
- Normal to dry skin: every technique is open to you.
- Previous work on your brows: micropigmentation, or removal first if the colour has shifted blue or red.
- You want the closest thing to natural: fiber technique.
- You want a made-up look: powder brows.

What happens at the appointment
- Consultation: skin type, any previous work, and the result you want.
- Measuring and mapping on your face, and nothing begins before you approve it in the mirror.
- Sterile tools opened in front of you, and certified imported pigments.
- Topical numbing, then the work, then written aftercare.
And if the technique you came for does not suit your skin I say so plainly and suggest the alternative. Saying no now is cheaper than correcting it months later.

What is the difference between brow tattoo techniques?
Microblading and nanoblading are hairstrokes and suit normal to dry skin. Powder brows are shading and suit every skin type, oily especially. Micropigmentation is soft density with no incision and works over previous work. The fiber technique draws fine strokes one by one in the direction the hair grows, and lasts longest.
Which brow tattoo is best for oily skin?
Powder brows, micropigmentation or the fiber technique. Microblading and nanoblading do not suit oily skin because the strokes spread with oil.
How long does a brow tattoo last?
Three to nine months for microblading and nanoblading, about a year for powder brows, one to two years for micropigmentation, and one to three years for the fiber technique.
Is a brow tattoo permanent?
No. It is semi-permanent makeup that fades gradually as the skin renews itself, and how long it holds depends on the technique and your skin type.
