Permanent Makeup Courses — hands-on, taught by a working artist
I teach the same eight techniques I use in the studio every day, in small groups and on real sessions. The microblading course runs five days for 750 JOD. Trainees come from Jordan and from across the Gulf.
I am Alaa Al Masri, a permanent makeup artist in Abdoun — Amman. I have worked with these techniques since 2013, trained in Ukraine, Serbia and Vietnam, and still travel to Vietnam every year. I teach what I actually do — not what I have read.

How I teach
- Small groups. A limited number per course, so every trainee gets her turn more than once — not a class you watch.
- On real sessions. Training does not end at synthetic skin; it ends when you work on a face and the result holds.
- And reading skin. When to turn a case down — which alone saves years of poor results and the reputation that follows them.
What you learn — the curriculum
- Measuring with a caliper. A brow is measured in millimetres, not by eye: where the head begins, exactly where the arch peaks, where the tail ends. This one tool is the difference between two brows that match and two that are merely close.
- Precise mapping before the needle. Building the shape on the face and reviewing it with the client before any incision. The drawing is the decision; the needle only carries it out — and what beginners get wrong is rarely the hand.
- Mixing pigment. How a colour is built for each skin depth and hair tone, and why no single ready-made pigment suits everyone.
- Colour correction. Reading a colour that has shifted blue or red, knowing why, and how it is corrected — and how it is prevented in the first place. This is what separates a professional from a beginner.
- The angle and depth of the incision. What decides whether a hairstroke stays a hairstroke, or spreads after months into a smudge.
Inside the course

What you leave with
- Training tools. What you need to practise with me across the five days is included in the fee. A professional working kit for afterwards is a separate purchase — and I will tell you what to buy and where, with no commission to me. I would rather you knew this now than after paying.
- Training on a real model. You do not leave with a certificate alone — you work with your own hands under my direct supervision until the movement is yours.
- Follow-up after the course. A private group for graduates: you send me your first cases and we review them together — because the hard part is never the learning, it is your first ten cases alone.

The eight techniques
Who these courses are for
For hairdressers and beauty artists who want to add permanent makeup to their services, and for those already practising who want a new technique or want to rebuild their fundamentals. You do not need prior experience — I start from zero where that is what is needed.
Coming from outside Jordan?
I welcome trainees from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. Message me on WhatsApp before booking flights: we agree the technique and the dates first, then you book — groups are small and dates fill up.
Microblading course — duration and fee
| Duration | 5 days — theory and hands-on |
|---|---|
| Fee | 750 JOD |
| Included | The full training, plus training tools |
| Not included | A complete professional kit for working after the course |
I say this plainly so no one is caught out: training tools are not a full working kit. Everything you need to practise with me across the five days is provided; equipping yourself to work professionally afterwards takes a further purchase — and I will tell you what to buy and where, with no commission to me.
